Two off-duty Lapis Port guards were overheard, one challenging the validity of the other's report that a dark elf woman was seen just outside the city's gates. He insisted that she had open dialogue with several adventurers and did nothing to hide her appearance, even in the light of day!

A deckhand from a recently arrived galley was overheard muttering about ill omens as he drowned his senses with tankard after tankard while lurching between the bar and nearby tables...
