How is this not hostile from you, I wonder. That actually classifies as an insult, but however, not worth my time.

final part of mini reviews here then we work on web page with screenshots ,editing and such

---------interiors-------------

1. Brick Interior
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=6992
This set has so many varied interior types that it could be used to simulate anything from a Dungeon, Sewer, celler, smithy, inn or bordello, it also contains the more basic, pre-designed interiors for houses inns, shops etc. Very easy to use with a familiar layout in the toolset.

2. RLCore Gothic Interiors 1.41
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=5411
Gothic Interiors would go perfect with as any type of Interior for a home or establishment dwelling Unlike other interior tilesets this one you could give the greatest visual for larger homes to have stairways to a higher up second floor or more floors. This is a great tileset for almost any nice Interior big and also small.

7. RLCore Gothic Estates 1.4
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=5335
Gothic Estates are perfect for those really really wealthy homes and yards that the City and rural tilesets have become old , overused and limited with. This does have a slight more modern look to it with a few tiles such as the train station that might be out of place in a midevil like fantasy setting but keep in mind this tileset can be used for a Fantasy or a modern one. That would be perfect for schools to educate students through RPG history usen NWN. There is a optional addon hak where you can have all the green houses empty to put in what placeable you want to. this tileset would fit along well with pretty much all the standard Rural and City tilesets and is fully loaded with tons of tiles.

18. Cellar Tileset
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... 7668#Files
To give your players a fresh new look when they go on the overused quest of killing rats in the basement of the local pub or a hidden secret passageway your players just discovered that holds untold secrets, This cellar is what you may be looking for to excite your players for a change with a new adventure or random cellar inspection to find loot or clues to something bigger. There are two versions of this tileset. One with a roof ceiling and one without so you can add your own placeable roof if you wish too.

21. Workshop Tileset v1.2
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=6556
Grown tired of all your smithy workshops and stores all looking the same in home design?
This is a nice small tileset that you can make your shops big or small and create a verity of different types of work genre's with business or pleasure. comes in two versions one for older video cards and modern ones.

30. Wooden interiors
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=7778
Alot of the common races in a Fantasy setting are in touch with nature and often have wooden homes placed anywhere. Why not have their inner dwellings appear so unlike ever before with this tileset that also includes walkable beds in this Drow Interior/Oriental remake.

22. Ship Interior
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=5350
If you ever want to have the greatest at-sea adventures for your players then this tileset is a must for with the latest verity of massive ships included in other more modern tilesets this Ship Interior will work greatly along side of them to actualy give your ship the correct appearence that your players are within a ship and not the city Interior tileset with this tileset that offers a good verity of new tiles.

25. CODI's Stem Interior
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=7747
This link is a patch 1.69 update to the Stem Interior that goes along with the Sigil tileset but really could be used for a verity of different Interiors. Visually stunning so much with so many new tiles that you will spend quite awhile in awe with so many more creative options to use this tileset with then its intended Sigil aybss theme.

28. rural interior
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=7411
Want to give a fresh new look to your Interiors without the clutter of placeables where you can completely design your own with placeables exactly where you want them and not be forced with placeables where you dont.

31. Castle Interiors by Tiggs
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=User.EntriesListing&id=54833
Tiggs Is super busy to provide us a massive verity of castle Interiors. like 10 of em that would make this list super long then it already is. There is a fresh new Castle Interior theme with each one. All are equally good and worth checking out if you want to finally add something special and different to your areas.

32. Oriental Interior Tileset v1.0
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=2221
Not only for Oriental areas/modules but also great for a clean Interior for you to completely design your own areas without the placeables that are already included in other tilesets and Use your own to create a brand new design for what ever type of Interior you want to make. You will find many Oriental design placeables with CEP that would go great with this tileset that have been created by this creator and some others from the NWN community.

34. TCC - Interiors
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=2879
a very wicked collection created by a verity of community members for you to also create a verity of different Interior areas with. Be it a home Interior , Temple or Celler there wont be any conflicting placeables so you can completely make these areas your own with placeables right where you want them.

44. Fantasy Interiors
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... 02&id=6631
This immersive interior contains (6) different themed 'room' terrains and (3) different themed 'corridors' which allow the serious builder more room to create their vision within a variety of options available. Dungeons , Inns , Huanted House ,Stone Interior and Taverns. Another must Tileset you have to check out for your players.

50. Elven Interior
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=6992
this castle remake is very beautiful with a nice verity of marble and colored stone

51. Marble Elvin Interior
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=6963
(censored)

59. Dwarf Halls 1.1
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=6992
This tileset could be a old dwarven tomb like LOTR moria linked up to some mines and caverns from this review list that would go pefectlly with this or the Dwarven Halls reviewed below as well. It doesnt have much of a dusty look for a tomb so a torch lit area lighting would be good for such a feel or you can have a active community of dwarves that are busy with their passion. I suggest if you do go live to place some fire or more torches along the walls. Wicked for A new look for a dungeon or a secret lair for a villan or a establishment Interior. Living quarters you may be able to pull off with usen a single doorway then a Corridor and fill it with bedroom like placeables I believe alot better that way for there are no living quarter tiles but that is alright, Freedom to make our own!

62. Dwarven Halls (Interiors and Exteriors)
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=4567
Filled with a great verity of tiles this is a jam packed collection for Dwarven Halls but with more verity of visual themes for you to choose. Like the above you can achive the same types of plot areas but this is alot more dirty and gritty looking for actual miners and more.

73. Wooden Elven Interiors
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=6662
A nice set perfect for your elven city and their homes. Another nice change from just the city interior mindset being fine enough for Elven dwellings.

80. Crimson Tower
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=5457
Ever played the RPG classic "Eye of the beholder"? I bet you have at least heard of it before. Well it is one of the most remade RPG games ever , If you watch my videos youll learn a good bit of history of NWN related RPG games soon. This Tileset is set to the Eye of the beholder theme for a wicked Dungeon Crawl. Check out the screen shot that shows a image of the classic game along side this tileset that gives a wicked visual of a mix between a Castle and a red Dungeon done very well that will give your players a great classic feel if your aim is for RPG purists.

86. Arcanum castle
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=6667
Arcanum Castle is a reskin of Castle Interior Tileset with several additions, proposed for making wizard labs, mage towers, and so on. Tileset additions include round castle corners and a floating portal.

90. Wood Marble castle interior
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=7724
A combo of two more castle interior remakes one completely wooden and one Marble and wood interior. Very nicely done.

94. Castle and City Expanded v4 (interior addons)
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=6929
I have searched the Vault far and Wide and I believe these Interior Addons that overwrite the standard NWN1 tilesets might just be the most addon filled interior tilesets to enhance your NWN areas more then ever before. Now this download link may come off as a massive collection combo pack but you do have the option to use these Interior addons with or without the others that many of the others are already listed here alone to give you the freedom to choose what you want. Enhance your game and expand the experience and level up higher then before!
HELP PLEASE
(this Final tileset is a really tough one I could not find a more addon filled interior tileset so please if you are more knowledgable of such another posted to the vault help us all out and show the way to a greater collection of community works for the Interior tilesets to make creating games alot more easy for your module builders and DM's if there is one please)

swamps

Post by Skunkeen »

These swamps share a slight likeness cus they are swamps but there are many different types of swamps , bogs and Bayou's. I find these the most Beautiful cus I use to live on a bayou river. When ever I talk with friends online on how much I love it they get the swamp image that is different. Everyday there was something new to find with plants (oh yeah) and animal critters some fun to play with and some that can kill ya and some you had to fight to run off your land like real agressive fire ants that when they swarm and bite you ya end up with these tiny little puss filled zits on your body that a few people have died from. A ant/beetle hill is missing from all of these but could be done perhaps with some placeables. And I think CCP or CEP has ants. Snakes that are yellow and green can be mean, Snakes that are black and red can kill ya dead. Big ole Frogs can be hostile to other frogs and even eat big birds. I have seen this! Spiders that rot your flesh from a small bite and In fantasy settings a CEP or CCP Stirge would be a more common like mosquito not the bioware standard one that looks like a bird.

A bog is a soft wet ground marsh often with alot of water around it that could be far away or very near and becomes a bog due to the water level rise. You can thank your polor icecaps or the bog not having water to drain to elsewhere. A merge of such into a forrest tileset like into Tom Banjo's TNO like Forest tileset would give the most real effect.

A Bayou isnt always dark and gloomy. Think of a Creek or a small park waterway streem with alot more biger wider water to sail a small boat, also kinda like the small waterways like you may see in pictures of Veitnam. A river with alot more mixes of vegitaition. A mix between Forrest tilesets and these swamp tilesets with random spots of wild vegitaition would give a Bayou the correct effect. Sometimes you can see to the bottom of water and some spots you can not. (dont forget the small boat to sail and the effect of being one with sunny or rainy nature)

now a Swamp is what each of these tilesets truely look like at first. a large strech of wetlands with wild vegitaition, fungi , spanish tree moss. and sometimes a jungle like tree vines that can be done with placeable ropes that could lead to houses up in the trees. CCP has deadly molds that hurt the player when they walk over them that would really surprise the players.

---------swamps-------------
20. Immersive Swamps and Hut Interiors
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... 6963#Files
I first saw this swamp long ago when I was going to DM for the Annakolia server And my friend Barry showed me lots of other amazing tilesets from the vault. This tileset From Lord Rosenkrantz is perfect for Dinosaurs that fit perfectly with this tileset from CCP (Community Creature Pack) the wild vegitaition is captured the best with Immersive swamps. the Deeper water is a great effect not in the other swamp tilesets that greatly adds to the realism. a little short of small features but really visually makes up for that. the Hut Interiors tileset that comes with this fits greatly with the huts from this tileset and quite a few other tilesets I believe it would work great with other homes too. Ive mentioned vines before leading up into a home and could be done with a floor pit/open hole placeable for area transitions up into a tree house. Also this is suitable for a jungle like setting if you desire.

48. Cypress Swamp
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... 6631#Files
From LordofWorms this is listed as Cypress Bayou when you include this into your module gives you a more fungi and Cypress trees to your swamps. This is a good example of how some real swamps and Bayous have a mix between this tileset and the standard bioware forrest and TNO based tilesets. With some adjusting to the area lighting you can merge such tilesets together making small adjustments from a area with trees that block the sun to sunny open Bayou river areas. Very few tiles other then huts but you can make up for that with placeables. the Raise and Lower is a great feature to stop the world from looking flat and blocky.

52. BTH Swamp
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=6668
notes and credits included with download link.
Now BTH swamps has two tilesets BTH swamps 1 and BTH swamps 2. btH swamps looks great but isnt as visualy stunning as the other swamp tilesets listed here but BTH swamps 1 has alot more of a verity of tiles to offer. more Towers , ruins, caves ,huts ,homes and more. BTH swamps to has a slight visual difference that fits perfectly on how swamp areas so randomly look upon area transitions. BTH swamps has a smaller amout of features like BTH swamps 1 does but still a great addition to your tileset collection.

Jungles

Post by Skunkeen »

(links all should be fixed now)

Check out CSP the community Skybox pack and youll find a nice Jungle skybox that would fit perfectly with these. and other great skyboxes from community creators too for other tilesets.

Jacoby's Jungle v1.1
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=4449
notes and credits included with the download page
Likely the better visual of the jungle Tilesets out there. Jacoby nicely includes some jungle sound effects into a optional hak that you will find under paint sounds insted of the tileset area sound properties so you can also use them in other tilesets as well. Suspended city up in the trees and caves fit perfectly into this Jungle theme.

Jungle CFR + suspended city
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=1523
notes and credits included with the download page
Not as visualy stunning as Jacoby's Jungle but Jungle CFR has alot more goodies to expand your Jungle adventures. Really a must to use Jacoby's Jungle sound hak with this one as well for there really isnt much of a pure jungle noise with the standard sound effects. This tileset offers more castles, roads, piers , ships , hedge mazes, tons of buildings and city gates. Mostly everything from the Forrest tileset themed to this jungle and more.
Skunkeen alot of these links seem to be giving an "error has occured". Not sure as to why.
Very sorry I will fix them very soon after I go through the list of doing a brief review. The reason why some of these links are not working is cus I copied them from my master list on the first page of this topic and I believe the forum settings manualy adjusts them to shorten the links. I have to re add each link for a cleaner list. very few of these tilesets I have never seen before and hard telling if they will get removed.

I have only seen about 75% of these tilesets before from DMing or playing at a verity of online game servers.

I expect sometime early July I will update the Master List to include a brief review on each tileset and to Exclude the numbering order to rid anyones mind of a ranking order. Till then all the links on the master list on the first page work. I feel bad not having it in order right away if this is your first time exploring some of these good adventure tilesets (I know your not new to tilesets) But I will improve and fix it asap for better ease for you to check out.

Atlantis / Aztec and Egyptian

Post by Skunkeen »

Aztec Interior
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=6513
this Aztec Interior can be used for alot more then just the Aztec theme. there is a wicked verity of interior designs to choose from. The choice is up to you between this origional from Chandigar or Mondego's reskin. Another tileset that words can not discribe with justice. You have to see these.
This version by Chandigar is not compadable with Mondego's reskin. It will be up to you to choose what version you want.

Aztec Exterior redux 1.23
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... 6048#Files
This is a really amazing Aztec tileset. includes a module in the download I could not open due to mising some aztecleaves.hak called Shipwrecked In Maztica. Maztica is a location within the NWN Forgotten Realms setting. The trees could also be used for a jungle setting. and you can nicely raise and lower smooth hills here too so the world does not look flat or blocky. you can create a whole colony with a full verity of tiles with this to make it look so. This version by Chandigar is not compadable with Mondego's reskin. It will be up to you to choose what version you want.

Atlantis/Aztex2/Maia
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... 59&id=7722
This is a very tough toss up between this and Aztec Exterior and Interior by Chandigar and this set. Both give a wicked visual that Mondego reskined and retextured a few things. The interiors I enjoy Mondego's version more with the room walls made out of skulls and the other rooms still greatly look like Chandigar's vision. the Atlantis tileset is more of a stright desert sand Tileset that you would be better off with CTP Babylon for it is the ultimate desert tileset. This version by Mondego is not compadable with Chandigar's reskin. It will be up to you to choose what version you want.

Superset Aztec Empire *SS_Aztec*
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... 18&id=3778
Notes and credits included with download
Not as visualy stunning as the above Aztec tilesets but this tile set makes up for its megaload of tiles. Alot and alot of tiles. A closer resemblece to a desert city but with greener grass.loaded with airships, Vilage hiltops that blend nicely is a massive set that you can spend hours to explore while you mindstorm your adventures. here is a top hak link to make Lodrezzon's supersets compadable with CEP and CTP http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=7310

Egyption interior Make over
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=7210
Bold looking and full of nicely done egyptian artwork all over the place the Egyptian interior would go greatly with use of the CTP Babylon desert tileset and maybe with the Mondego's Atlantis tileset. the artwork included into this tileset positivly give your players a tomb feel. The lighting from this tileset as my friend Winterhawk from Harvest Moon PW found is very bight and bold. I suggest adjusting the area lighting properties to be "interior Torch-lit" throw in alot of old deadly gas traps as well and when those are set off you have a great ultimate egyption tomb effect with Neverwinter Nights. CEP and CCP includes some wicked monsters and some placeables that also fit greatly into this tileset.

Dungeons and Crypts

Post by Skunkeen »

------------Dungeons and Crypts-----------
4. Dusty Dungeon (RESKIN)
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... 6992#Files
Ashtefere is on the right track for a wicked new look to the Dusty Dungeon Reskin. This will effect all Dungeon tilesets based on the Biowares Dungeon and will also change the Appearence to Razare's Dungeon City. Acropoles/Biowware raise and lower dungeon expansion. It does look very good but to use with other Dungeon Tilesets above mostly with Razare's Dungeon City it kinda makes things look out of place. Within the Notes Ashtefare suggests making this a stand alone tileset where there would be dust where ever the players walks. Personly I am kinda half and half with this Reskin with the other mentioned dungeon Tilesets here. It does look great but a stand alone tileset would of been Better with Ashtefere's full vision and thinking of removing this from this list but it is really really good looking

6. Dungeon LOK
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... 6992#Files
Notes and credits included with download.
Dungeon LOK is what a more real Dungeon would be imagined to look like. It is lacking some possible grouped tilesets but you can make up for that by dressing your areas.

9. Classic Dungeon 0.9.1
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... 5899#Files
this tileset is a must and Maxam was cool enough to show me some of his future Developments on this tileset while i was working on this list. Words can not do this Tileset Justice. Folks have to be shown! Completely not a flat world dungeon at all. many wicked Passage ways up and down.

11. Deep dungeon
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=7652
Scrunched upside along the walls as your move through Caves and caverns as you have very little room to step gives a great new sense of adventure to NWN1 that has been missing. the Mark of the Beast is all over this one and a must to check out for your story Adventures.

29. Razare's Dungeon City
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... 7717#Files
THis is a great City and Dungeon Combo great for a underground city or a abyssal city. Filled with tons of extra goodies that Kthoris inspired Razare to continue to work onto this tileset. I need to search on Kthoris and Razare to see their other works too. CTP Dusty Dungeon (Reskin) I feel makes this tileset look out of place and would be a very hard choice to choose between the other. Really depends on the Vision of your story and what your wanting. To have a Wicked Dungeon with alot more to it like better living quarters this would be great for.

71. Dry Crypt
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... 5661#Files
with some tweeking of the area coloring you will have a dark, dusty and sandy looking Crypt that the standard Bioware ruins tileset can not offer you thanks to Eldonorian

. Maze Tileset
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=6812
You can really drive your players nuts with this one and use the no mini map hak as well so they can not keep track of where they been. Toss your players into here and throw away the key and they might panic while you enjoy their torture. You can make a wicked maze and with the use of random doorways and a area transition to a new area you can very easy make one heck of a puzzle for your players to try to servive.

91. Beholder dungeons
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... 59&id=7746
this adds Three extra tilesets "Beholder cd" "Beholder egypt" and "Beholder Interior" the peeks of stairways that can be done with this is very amazing. the Visual theme will match up nicely with Classic Dungeons, Dungeon LOK and the standard Crypt to expand your areas to provide more visual stories.

97. Bioware's dungeon raise/lower
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=6635
A must to put a stop to the NWN1 game from being so darn flat. At first I was confused on how come I too could not find any raise/lower options in the standard bioware dungeon tileset then discovered the reason is this feature is within a stand alone Drungeon tileset titled "Flare"! Usen the CTP Dusty Dungeon will change the feature of the Flare tileset but they both do look wicked together And the choice is up to you!
