10. Wildland
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=7652
Read bits of the notes and full credits included with the download.
You have a choice between Wildlands and Winter Wildlands. Both of the same good quality. Use one or the other or both. These would work perfect near the TNO tilesets. The sea shore is a nice unseen aproch as well the city walls to keep wildlife and invaders out. Felt like there should be some farming tiles but Sixthrice asures us he still has future plans for this wicked tileset.
19. Barbaric North Tileset (Beta 1.1)
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=7163
A more Wild winter themed from the wicked duo Chandigar and s030363l. you do get a norseman feel from this tileset and the Frozen lake is great to finaly place a trap to mimic a player to fall under the ice to another area under water. This set is still going to be reworked by CTP so look for it as it will be bigger and better with less bugs.
New Snow Tileset
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=6417
Over three years old as of this writing but I bet this tileset might be new to a few of you reading this. While you might find alot more tiles with Barbaric North. This Frozen winter snow tileset offers a different modeled and textures for such things like the cliff sides ,Trees and buildings. be sure to use your eraser to check out the verity of changes you can do with these tiles.
46. Scorched Earth
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... 6631#Files
Lord of Worms will burn your butt walking over this Scorched Earth better then before in this now stand alone tileset. Lava flowing under your feet and burnt trees show signs of a recent volcanic lava slide. Raise Lower or enter from a cave onto a path of crispy bones and more.
69. Oriental Rural Tileset V3
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=2225
notes and credits list within the download
The Rural Tileset but with many Oriental style tiles added like Fishing boats, bamboo, themed castles, temples and more.
72. NR Grasslands
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=4055
This rural tileset was a great Idea to have unkempt high grass. you wont see it till you play in game, Based arduain's grasslands hak Mobyksu made it a non-replacing tileset. with Dinosaurs from CCP to stalk your players or wild game creatures for hunting. This tileset adds a bit more realism to your rural wild areas. check it out in "Rose Of Eternity - Chapter 1 - The Coming"
96. Harvest Hills/ Wayland harvest
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=7221
notes and credits included with the download
Listed as Wayland Harvest on the Vault. Harvest hills is a combination of three types of hills for Desert , Winter rural and Rural. CTP Babylon allows hills and so might the Complete Rural/city hak if they do then relisting this for only the Winter Hills would be best.
95. Complete Rural/city
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=7494
notes and credits included with the download
The Mother Load this is one mean tileset that lives up to its name. Sadly there is a hills glich reported with Armor Darks Nvidia video card. I am using a ATI 1650 card and I could not emulate and shadow glitch's but did see some weird flashing at the bottom base of a tree near the hills. There is always Wayland Harvest hills to use for more perfection with hills. But this tileset will give us a massive amount to talk about.

http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=6992

The work of many from the NWN community organized by CTP where they uped the bar and created and added a lot more. Not just another mother load you can really spend a very long long time discovering all the possible uses for your players. Not only a Desert Tileset but with some area lighting effects you can also make a wicked underwater tileset. A long school Essay could be written and spoke on all the stuff with in this that you can do.
33. Red Granite Nights Tilesets
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=2453
Two tilesets based on the red rocks and dusty shrubbery of the Arizona Desert. These are re-skinned Forest Tilesets. The first one, titled RG Nights Canyon, contains more greenery and works better in tight pathways with the cliffs as walls. The second tileset, titled Red Granite Flats, has barely any greenery compared to the other tileset. Set to the standard Bioware forest tileset. Creativly best at the very bottom of a very deep canyon from another tileset like rocky Mountains Desert or Babylon. Floor bottom of a Cliff or Chasm

12. Undercity Sewers
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=7652
This is only a small tileset for now but the workings of something bigger says Sixthrice at this download link page but even right now this tileset gives you a nicely done sewers pipe line with roof and a room with roof and not such a mean green water like other sewer tilesets have. A must to follow and keep a eye on for more.

http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... 02&id=6631
Ever heard of something being too good? Well Seasonal Forest is too darn good! Not only is it loaded with tons of goodie tiles you can also transition your areas through weather seasons throughout your adventure!!!! Surpise sleeping beauty that takes a sweet nap under her favorite tree atop a smooth hill in a calm sunny summer breeze to awake to a dark and freezing winter night later in the year surounded by a blood thirsty frenzy of winter wolves. This Tileset it self is a beauty. The world is not flat and blocky that NWN needs to evolve away from. With this tileset you may wonder... is this NWN1 or NWN2? Check out the beta addons by Senemenelas being worked on. http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... 29&id=7540
Spectral woods
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=7411
by sixesthrice
Pure Wickedness with this dreamscape like ghostly woods. Adjust the fog and area darkness settings and you have your players exploring the area from all camera angles in a sudden panic wondering where in the nine hells they are at in their first glance. No mini map help so it will become easy for them to become lost for a little bit. Perfect for a late night paranormel encounter story.
TBX Forest
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... 49&id=7544
credits and notes on the download page.
A massive forest collection set to perfectly merge with the standard Castle exterior rural tileset included into the final 1.69 patch alot more then the older Bioware forest tileset would. Loaded with tons of tiles to keep you busy as you explore new creative options for your players to travel to or through.
Gaoneng's Forest
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=7713
Notes and list of credits missing from download link and will be hard for me to find them all. I only can spot and recall a few within this tileset.
Gaoneng's Forest is listed as Forest 2 when you add this tileset to your module. A more diversed and expanded tileset then the standard Forest tileset and a real toss up between JXP Forest for they both offer something the other doesnt. Gaonengs has a great collection of platform tree city tiles and cave enhancements and raise and Lower that you can turn into smooth hills so the forest is no longer a flat world.
JXP Forest
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=1494
list of credits and notes included.
JXP Forest is a older collection but still running strong. this set like Gaoneng's forest offers a collection of forest tileset features that some make them different then the other. Like the Tree on the island is a awesome site. a giant Elven Tree house. Gaoneng's forest may offer alot more but I would still suggest you to scan through Gaonengs Forest and JXP Forest and see what stories your creativity spawns to consider what tileset to use or both if you have the hak space.
Suspended City for Bioware forest
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=7685
Im not so positive this tileset is compatible with JPX Forest and Gaoneng's forest for I get a out of bounds error when switching between these forest tilesets once I add this one into my module. But it does have a Wicked Suspended tree city tiles where you can place a village/city way up into the trees that the other forest tilesets above do not have. Much like from the jungle tileset but more fitting to the Forest setting. I do suggest to check this tileset regulery for more updates. And test before you get deep into building with your other tilesets.

CITY tilesets
Work in progress (I had hoped to finish this part sooner, sorry if you have been intently following this for the delay, enjoying the summer too much.)
------city--------
5. Expanded Elven City
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=6992
Notes and credits included on the Download Page
This is another great diversed tileset you can do a another verity of things with. Great tree wall does slightly give the effect of giant tree roots spreading out to enclose the elven city. Your Elvin city could be part forest city and part pit/platform city high up in the air or deep down below by ground or pit/platform. The elven homes are beautiful as well are the other Features and groups that youll have a good bit of fun to explore and build with.
23. Arcadia City Tileset
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=7374
credits and notes on download page
The Arcadia tileset gives a fresh new look to the city tileset through its red brick grounds and redder roofing shingles and thick cement block walls theme. Most gameworlds and single player modules have multiple standard cities all too common looking the same with the defualt city tileset where not every city should look the same in your module. A effect when you travel to a new city one would expect a new city to actuly look new and with this you can give such effect. You will be very familuir with this tilset in the toolset and there is only a few extra's that I have noticed such as Allyways.
24. CODI Sigil Exterior
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=6222
Credits and notes included in Download. Notes seem a little off.
There seems to be a reposted update that will focus on the stem Interior in the next video or text review down below. There are three Tilesets and note named in the notes. the "Sigal" Tileset is in the codi_sigil_ext.hak , Stem Interior Tileset and the Savannah tileset. This review part will focus only the Sigil Exterior tileset and will exclude the Savannah tileset. The Sigal tileset can be used for a verity of other uses then the intended abyss setting. Offer a run down city or a underground city with use of a Wicked CSP skybox. the moddling and artwork on this tileset is amazing and really stands out as a original new city.
CODI's Stem Interior
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=7747
notes and credits included at the download link
this tileset has been updated for patch 1.69 and has been through some extra cleaning and fixes for door numberings and only includes the Stem Interior and not the very small Savannah tileset as what was released by CODI in the review above. This tileset is great for more then just usen with the Sigal tileset. Compare the interior design to other homes with other tilesets such as huts, inside of a tree and others. With this in mind you will unlock your creative ability to make your world look completely fresh all over then ever before. The inside cealing is perfectly amazing and hard not to stare at it for awhile if this tileset is very new to you.
26. Colossal arena
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=7411
credits and notes at the download page.
This arena tileset is very likely the best out there vs other attempts I have seen. at a glace you would mistake this for a Interior Area but it does not have to be so by adding a skybox and out door sound effects and lead to this area from some another city transition source. for Indoors placing a roof and a slight echo sound effect I would recomend, a very easy tileset to work with and have fun with and there are many scripted Arena convention event you could find on the IGN NWN Vault or if you happen to create your own for this that is different and new I would like to see it please.
35. Lost Valley
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=1794
Notes and credits included at the download link
Almost removed this tileset due to reports of a loot drop issue where loot becomes to hard to grab from within the ground but not all modules use the old style bag drop loot system to be affected but something Dungeon Masters should be aware of with this tileset with critters but droping items on the ground is perfectly fine and alright. I have briefly tested this out in game and will more in video but with the age of this tileset it is very unlikely for it to be updated. However this tileset is a slight combo between the underdark and rural tileset. You can visualy use this tileset for above or underground Vallys. the ground does seem a bit more of rocks and does seem to be missing some optional or more possible grass patches. But a Valley is what it is vs what can be done with the standard rural tileset and would merge alot better leading to mountains or a deep canyon.
43. Deadlands
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=3758
credits and notes at the download page
This is a great Tileset for it can capture a rocky coastline perfectly and a enclosed city protected by a great wall perfect to defend off wild critters or a barbarian like raid. But build with it and make what ever you want for it is quite loaded with a great amount of new tiles that youll need to spend some time to explore your options. This tileset is the grassy land Vally like area that the "Lost Vally" reviewed above seems to be missing. You can also smooth out your hills and lead to mountains alot better. Also the Marsh looks great to transition to the Jungle or swamp areas. Great with TBX Forest and the latest tilesets in the final patch.
39. Superset Omir *SS_Omir*

notes and Credits included with download link
Now the CTP Baylon is still the new king of all desert tileset and both Deserts includes tiles the other does and doesnt. Omir offers a near setting to the Polynesian Village reviewed Below with different appearence to homes and huts and great for if you want to have a verity of such villages that wont look exactly the same if you dont mind the slight change from the sun bleached sand. Hightop village and Forest tiles are also noteable to check out.

A huge advancement over the standard "Rural Winter" tileset fully loaded with tons of winter themed tiles for your city also and more that is perfect to start with or transition your city or rural areas into the cold season. Another wicked Superset!
41. Superset Grondol *SS_Grondol*
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... 18&id=3789
note and credits at download link
Grondol is a mega set and could likely go well in a module with deadlands, Jungles, swamps, TBX Forest and the lastest Patch1.69 tilesets. What few tiles missing from the others for your adventure this one is loaded with just what you may need in your next area transition. lives up to its name Superset!
42. Polynesian Village
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... 18&id=3759
notes and credits at download page
You can do alot more then just a Village with this tileset. A mix of oriental and rural set to a beach like tropical area theme. Good to go with the tropical tileset in your module adventures. This tileset offers a great mix of homes and rural features also so the world dont seem flat or blocky. Slightly like the mega tileset submitted by Lodrezzon but not as many tiles but this tileset is alot more true to the beach side theme to make you dream of a nice well deserved vacation. Listed as Seaside village when added to your module insted of its page name.
66. CC City Exterior

A wicked collection of city exterior tiles added and reskined
74. Rustic City

A wicked remake of the standard city exterior tileset to appear more frontier and Rustic. visualy done very well.

The TNO City reskin is nice for a change from the same ole look and the TNO Winter city tileset offers us a great way to transition our areas into the seasons if you would need to start in such or transition over time acording to the story within your adventure.
Great thread!
Just wanted to say that this thread is a great idea. If you were looking for some more, why not :
1/ add a screenshot of a *simple* area built with each tileset. In the best case, it should be functionnally identical (desert = oasis, rural = inn, city = marketplace, etc.), for matching purposes, but of course it won't always be possible. That way, builders could have a good first visual check of what to expect from each tileset.
2/ merge the result of your work in a PDF/HTML document that could be easily printed, or kept under hand for future reference.
Also, I know you will probably get some more flak for this, but if you intend to offer mini-reviews, I would very much appreciate you to mention your evaluation of the "user-friendliness" of the tileset. To remain as objective as possible in this task, only technical features of tilesets would be evaluated, like "slow building" when in the toolset (because rules are lacking, for example), or poor FPS around some structures when in the game, etc.
The artistical value of each tileset would remain for each builder and player to decide, as it should, in my opinion at least.
Thanks again, Skunkeen.

The work of many from the NWN community organized by CTP. Not just another mother load you can really spend a very long long time discovering all the possible uses for your players. Not only a Desert Tileset but with some area lighting effects you can also make a wicked underwater tileset. A long school Essay could be written and spoke on all the stuff with in this that you can do.

Is it rude of me to point out that we actually contributed a lot of original material to this set ourselves, and didn't just organise the work of others?
The nice words about the set are appreciated, though.

Thank you Nissa Red will keep in mind for the page to be designed to be nicely converted by a PDF creator. Only thing is as soon as this list gets out , it will become quickly out of date. but it would be a good place for folks to still check out wicked Tilesets and perhaps find any news within the vault links comments on the pages of these. More screenshots wont be a problem.
We have Listru and Jerowyn that will be working on the pages artwork and design. If youve been diging the latest artwork at our site that is greatly thanks to Listru's talent.
I want to pitch the artistic values as a muse so these tilesets get used / seen with other peoples creativity. Then they will learn about the creators and the CC community involved when they unlock their creative mindset and want more and who to go to and what creators to praise more then the likes that do little bits for example but to also thank them too for as a community we are in this together. Not pitching the tilesets to other tileset creators. Pitching to the module builders and the DM's and new people to our community to see our talents big or small. Community wars just break out when we get too personal on each others works. And I mean no offence to anyone for not listing their good work or attempts here. Use these tilesets I know folks will have creative fun with and expand. Not a battle where good people want to leave and quit. I hope it becomes possible for such a list of opinions and views to be shared positivly.
Estelicious dont worry, not rude at all and this likely wont be the last time I have to re-word somethings. Eat2surf has three published books and sometime between now and 2010 I hope to have his help with editing and some of his views as well as yours and other tileset creators with me on video/audio while in the toolset and in game. I want the feedback or else I wouldnt be working on this here before presenting it anywhere else. I ment to say CTP has a organized team but ive updated it and it looks good now or we may change it again this is a pretty good forum here with nice editing powers.

Undersea , Space , sky and Travel
Undersea
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... 02&id=6631
the best tropical undersea tileset ever. I dont aim to offend anyone that ever made a undersea tileset. The grounds are riddled with coral and sea shells and has a beautiful collection of tiles that will make you hold your breath
Outer limits
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=6355
Depending on what you want for your module for outer space you may find a tough choice between this and GHI Aethyr Tileset. Outer limits looks slightly more visualy stunning where GHI Aethyr has alot more tiles to offer. Both perfect to use with CSP and select The space skybox
Atmosphere (listed as Ori Swamp Sky)
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=6929
A city up in the clouds or the ability to fly along the clouds this tileset makes that all possible. I listed this link for it has a mini map update to it not listed with the older submission of this tileset.
GHI Aethyr Tileset
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=7386
a Outer space tileset with a amazing collection of tiles perfect for a dreamscape or a encounter with the gods and more.
Wagon Travel Interior
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... 7797#Files
The travel speed may seem like it is moving a bit fast as if the wagon is being pulled by a magical spell hasted creatures like horses or Time is just moving faster during your travel. Adding this tileset to your module will place this Wagon Interior into your standard microset.
