The misadventures of a herald

Deep in the heart of winter the new herald of morzelmore approached two adventurers Caland and Theodosia wanting help to find a lost ruin. a school was thought to be under the old hermit shack and Zaphro wanted to try to find it. The only problem was the it was written in her books that only a human or demi human could open the secret passage to the school.

They all went together and found the school. Once the school was found theodosia and Caland left Zaphro to her musings at the stairs that lead to the various classrooms.

Three weeks later Vallarios missing his herald called for sanser to find her and put up a reward in the village. He approached again Theodosia and Caland. Being the rude Sgt he is known for he insulted the adventurers. Theodosia didnt go. Caland haveing a feeling somewhat responsible for the poor dragonking flew to the school and found her dead with an abishia trapped withing the evil summoning circle.

Then Caland not knowing what he did blew out a candle in the evil summoning circle unleashing the portal to the lower planes onto the world. Devils started to flow out of the portal and attack him. He grabed up the body of the herald and ran.

Getting outside he then raised her.

What will adventurers find when they go back.....no one knows


Rigo and Droor explored the topaz mine to find alistra's missing pearl. They encountered hell hounds, imps and dretch working together with the gnolls. Something very strange indeed is going on.

They found not one but two pearls one had very different effects than Alistras pearl. Where did this new pearl come from and who or what is its owner.....no one yet knows


The minions of the lowerplanes keep coming. A balor mislishiously tainted two shimmers near the vales turning them into portals to the abyss. Theodosia, Marie, Caland, Ellidy, and Murin came together closed and sealed the tainted portals restoreing the shimmers to their natural place. They also defeated many of the lower planes creatures.

The portal is still open to the lower planes shifting from plane to plane will adventurers return and restore its defense system? we will find out very soon


As more and more lower planes creatures came out of the schools portal; the elven guardians of the avandor shimmer became concerned. They sent Avangara to a group of adventurers in the vales.

Krystine vail, Droor, Ellidy, Theodosia, Marie Lovaign, and Caland were at the campfire when she came to them.

She explained to them that the portal desprately needed closeing. She then explained to them that to bring back the defenses you had to find two skulls and get some giant beeswax. you then had to have 6 non evil people donate a drop of blood for each candle to be mixed with the wax.

The first thing they did was go to the beehive fighting though the minators and the queen guard. they collected some wax. Then brave caland tore off on his own and collected skulls from the wolves den. meanwhile the rest went to Zaphro to maybe find a different way to do it.

Zaphro looked it up and found there was no other way than with 5 arch mages preforming a special ceremony. Zaphro even gave some of her own blood to the cause. Then they went down to sanser and bought some of his blood. He was very grumpy until they showed him enough gold.

They then headed to the school fighting though trolls many times they came close to dieing some did infact fall for a moment but others had raise scrolls to lift their fellows up.

They made it to the school and returned the defenses to the lower planes summoning circle. They were ported to the gate of avendor congragulated and are all now friends to the elves.

Is this the end?......perhaps however no one will know how many powerful lower planes creatures escaped to the land and now stay waiting for their chance to take over the area.
