I Thought I would get down a bit of news about the future for everyone. So, let’s do this.

Harrowsport. I have started playing on the Harrowsport server. I have played it for about 10 hours or so thus far. It looks to be a good server to play in. It already seems more relaxing than many of the servers I have been to the last few years.

Now it does have consensual ERG. That would stand for Erotic Role Play. I questioned one of the members extensively about their rules and safety measures and it all seems that they take it them very seriously so I am not worried that a bunch of kids will get on then see and do things kids should not do. So, everything is fine there.

I have already seen some custom tiles. They were not as clean and pretty as someone from the CTP would make them, however it was a pretty neat set (a wide waterfall with a tunnel behind it. I give the maker an A for creativeness. Whoever you are, keep working on it. You have some talent there.

Harrowsport seems more of a social server than anything and to tell you the truth I need a break from TDN types of servers. I hope to have some fun there and I have already seen old friends that I know. So, it looks like all is cool.


Speaking of The Dragon’s Neck I have some new news about that server.

First, I have had an unusual number of people contact me on discord and say I was spot on, and my review was solid as a rock. Some had some minor points they thought I got wrong but the overall big things It seems everyone thought I got right.

Does this make me happy? No. It really makes me sad. It was one of my first really bad reviews, but I could not ignore the gross negligence and general and malicious nature of both the DMs and Leadership there.

And as proof of this I did point out in my review that I got thrown off their elven discord for……. asking a question. And now I have been banned for life for giving a bad review of them. I will put down what they said to me for prosperity’s sake.

One of the Leaders of The Dragon’s Neck sent me this. They would not use their name:

Hello, this notice is to let you know that you are now banned from TDN. It is disappointing that you would publish defamatory statements and implications on your forum without attempting to engage the Admin team or staff in a manner that makes it clear of your intentions, that type of proactive outreach is typical of someone that wants to exercise journalistic integrity. Reviewing servers from YOUR perspective is perfectly reasonable, sadly the information you worked with was severely flawed and I am going to recommend you cease continuing your efforts of making Defamatory statements against individuals associated with TDN, past, present and future. This ban is permanent and will never be revoked.

Let us pick this apart:

1. TDN doesn't engage with players being banned or even give them any sort of defense, yet when it breaks decency, it wants you to speak to the Admin.
2. Journalism doesn't have to involve reaching out to staff, especially not corrupt ones.
3. YOUR perspective is caps lock power language and hints that it is written in emotion.
4. Claiming 'information is flawed' is a blanket statement based on nothing.
5. A threat to cease without having anything to back it up.
6. 'Never be revoked' is emotional language.

This is just a ban written by some one that threw a fit, lost his corpo speech.

I do hope The Dragon’s neck does fix some of the things that I mentioned. As it stands now, the world is not worth the wasted time you would spend playing it. I don’t believe they will change anything though they seem too hardheaded too. We will see. I will be getting reports from time to time from friends of mine. I do hope they change some things to make it tolerable for the average player.

I’m backlogged about a month from the story ‘She Came from the Sea’. I will be writing to continue it with the other authors in the campaign and our DM Kobra that loves head pats and chocolate chip cookies.

Oh, and at Harrowsport I will be playing Arelush at 45 years old. This will be her last server. There is about a 10-year space between her leaving Amia and coming to Harrowsport. I will fill all that in in the next few days.

So that is it for now. I haven’t done any general news for a while and love to keep all my readers informed every now and again.
